We have decided to change the scheduled days for releases of the podcast. From now on podcasts will be released on the 5th, 15th and 25th of the month (or as close to those days as possible). Happy New Year listeners. We did not disappear despite our sixth season ending six months ago. For the new year, we are working on the seventh season worth of interviews! We have a nice mix of games in the works so far and are still soliciting interviews with designers. For those who subscribe to our iTunes channel or elsewhere, you will be pleasantly surprised when the first interview downloads to wherever it is you have directed them.

So, season 5 is coming to a close, and I'm happy to say that it has generated a lot of downloads. Sweet.
One user (Billy) commented that our copyright date is wrong. Apparently, it's been like that since January. Hah. Oops. Thanks, Billy. In the latest episode it has been fixed.
I'd love to see more comments that aren't peddlers of WoW gold or purse spam, but such is life. I'm just happy you all keep downloading us. Don't forget to shoot either Mitch or I an email if you have a game you'd like to hear more about, and we'll do our best to get the designers on the show.
One last note is a call to anyone with games in preview (or soon to be released). We did a few preview interviews this season, so we'll might be able to help each other.

I know this is 3 days late, but August 1st season 5 began with a preview interview with Josh Roby, the designer of the Smallville RPG. Mitch and I have some other exciting interviews (some more previews) set to come out this season. I'll only give one hint as to who we've been talking to: Vincent Baker is back with another interview. So, to all those RPG and story game fans listening out there, this season is one you won't want to miss.

Mitch looked at our downloads for the month of June (so far), and to our pleasant surprise, they shot up incredibly into the thousands! Thank you to everyone who listens to the show, and thank you to those who have linked our episodes on your blogs.
We have begun recording interviews for season 5, and I'm particularly excited because we have a few preview interviews planned for the Summer. We don't have the season's start date figured out, but look for the first interview toward the end of July and early August (strangely in time for Gen Con--no, we aren't attending).

I have just released a second edition of Ninja Vs Pirates (oh and Robots Vs Zombies). We have started using a new printer, The Game Crafter, so I took the chance to update the game.
One of the most frequent suggestions was color coding. To make each of the faction's cards easer to tell apart during play. Done! Now Ninjas are yellow, Pirates are Red, Robots are blue and Zombies are green.
I hope everyone likes the new cards!
